Tehilla Bennett
OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Our founder and principal designer, Tehilla Bennett, the heart and soul of Teela Bennett Design oversees our squad with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how spaces can influence emotions and experiences.
Before launching her design firm in 2018, she spent time as a NICU nurse and studied interior design online at NYSAD. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of how spaces need to function for their lifestyle.
As a proud mom herself, Tehilla knows that a home needs to be more than just aesthetically pleasing. It should also be a place that provides comfort, functionality, and respite from the stresses of everyday life. This philosophy guides her as she works closely with her clients to create custom designs that reflect their individual style and meet their specific needs.
Her Bachelor's degree in psychology and her nursing background serve her well in this regard. They help her understand her clients on a deeper level, allowing her to design spaces that are not just beautiful, but also truly feel like home. Whether she's designing for her own young family, friends, neighbors, or clients, Tehilla approaches each project with both her head and heart.
Tehilla's dedication to quality extends far beyond the design process itself. She stays on top of current trends and keeps herself updated with the latest products on the market. This commitment ensures that her clients always have access to the best and most relevant design elements available. Tehilla personally guarantees the quality of Teela Bennett's vendors' offerings. She frequently visits showrooms and design industry markets across the country, ensuring that every piece of furniture, every finish, and every décor item lives up to her standards.
Today, she leads Teela Bennett Design from its Beachwood, Ohio base, creating tasteful and well-designed spaces that her clients love to call home.

Jacqui McCowan
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & DESIGNER
Introducing Jacqui, the lifeline of our design crew! Born and raised on the vibrant west side of Cleveland, Jacqui has always been a lover of design.
It all began with childhood sketching sessions alongside her grandma, watching their favorite show 'Trading Spaces' and designing floor plans of her bedroom. This early passion for color and space planning led her down the path to a rewarding career in interior design.
A proud mom of two adorable little girls, Rylie and Reese, and a parent to an 80 lb boxer named Bentley, Jacqui is as much a family woman as she is a design enthusiast. With her BA in Interior Design from Kent State University and over 13 years of industry experience, she expertly balances her roles at home and work.
Jacqui's expertise spans both commercial and residential design. She brings a unique perspective to our team, thanks to her background in trend forecasting. Whether it's color and materials, fashion or graphics, she's always on top of the latest design trends. An Allied ASID member, Jacqui takes great pride in mentoring younger designers. She believes in nurturing creativity and fostering growth in the next generation of design talent.
When she's not creating stunning yet functional spaces for clients, Jacqui can be found immersing herself in family time, cooking up a storm, crafting, or exploring new places. She also has a knack for planning themed parties, where she skillfully combines all her passions.

Anywhere on the water! Whether I’m enjoying the sun on the beach, on the boat or just drinking coffee by the lake, it’s my favorite pastime. I love seeing my little girls enjoy it as much as I do.

Plants! My mom and I grow and trade plants all the time. I love adding that natural element to my home and any space I design. Sometimes they stay alive and sometimes it’s a struggle!

Gabby Thoreson
SHOWROOM MANAGER & DESIGNER
Meet Gabby! She comes to us with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Gabby is a creative powerhouse who infuses a touch of artistry into every home she designs.
Gabby is not just a great asset to Teela Bennett Design. She is also a proud mom to two energetic boys and three lively Labrador retrievers. Her adventurous spirit is evident in her bold and innovative designs that are as unique as her life story.
Originally on the path to becoming a Physical Therapist, Gabby pivoted towards her passion for creating art in the form of homes. She believes everyone deserves their dream home and is committed to helping her clients realize this goal.
In her free time, you'll find Gabby painting which is a testament to her unending creativity. She also relishes quality time with her family - going out riding with her husband, taking leisurely walks with the dogs, or embarking on outdoor adventures with her boys. A dedicated supporter of the military community, Gabby regularly attends Veteran meetings and outings, lending her help and support to service members and their families.

Music. Sounds weird but I have music I listen to for everything I do. Driving, riding, painting, etc. Always depends on my mood but music always has a lesson within it and makes me feel good. I am always listening to music.

Elana Pollack
DESIGNER
Immerse yourself in the world of design with our designer Elana Pollack. She loves blending passion and creativity to create interiors that tell stories. Elana's love for interior design is not a newfound interest. It's a lifelong passion!
Elana has always been captivated by the world of interior design. However, life had other plans, leading her down the path of raising four boys and a girl. During this time, she found inspiration in her mother-in-law, a seasoned interior designer whose work left a lasting impression on Elana.
Once her children embarked on their own educational pursuits, Elana took advantage of the opportunity to follow her passion for interior design. She was fortunate to join Tehilla’s team and together, they've been creating magic in homes in Cleveland and beyond!
Elana's design approach is very personal. She believes every space should reflect the unique personality and lifestyle of its people. Her designs are not just aesthetically pleasing but also practical, catering to the needs of a bustling family life – a trait no doubt influenced by her own experiences as a mother.
When she's not transforming spaces, Elana loves spending quality time with her family and traveling. Her adventures serve as a source of inspiration, enriching her design palette with diverse cultural and artistic influences.

Danielle Carlson, our creative powerhouse, is a driving force behind our interior design vision. Having graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2022, Danielle brings a fresh and innovative perspective to the industry.
She has an eye for aesthetics and a solid understanding of market trends. Specializing in creating compelling content that resonates with our audience, Danielle's work is a seamless blend of creativity and professionalism. She is so thankful for the opportunity to blend her love for interior design and marketing here at our team. Danielle understands the importance of storytelling in marketing and excels at creating narratives around our design projects, helping potential clients envision their own spaces transformed.
When she's not propelling our team, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She finds particular joy in weekends spent at the lake, traveling and seeing every design project as an opportunity to bring visions to life.
